Kathmandu. Nepali Congress leader and former home minister Ramesh Lekhak cast his vote at a polling booth in Kathmandu.

Baijanath Secondary School at Bedkot Municipality-8 in Kanjanpur Municipality-3 cast their votes from the Gayal River centre. The writer, who is contesting from Kanchanpur-3, is not contesting the election.

The writer had openly supported Hari Bahadur Bohara after Gagan Thapa fielded him as the candidate for Kanchanpur-3. He has been in Kanchanpur for a long time and will return to Kathmandu in a few days after casting his vote
