Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Chandra Prasad Dhakal, has cast his vote at a polling station in Bishalnagar, Kathmandu.
Speaking after the voting, Dhakal said voting was not only a right but also a responsibility to determine the future of the country. He expressed the hope that the country would get capable and far-sighted leadership through the voting. He expressed the belief that the country would move ahead towards building a prosperous economy with stable policy, investment-friendly environment and participation of the private sector.
Stating that the private sector has 80 per cent contribution to country’s economy, employment and revenue, he said the private sector is the major engine of development and prosperity. The Prime Minister said that the expected development and prosperity would be achieved only with the active participation and investment of the private sector.
He expressed the belief that the new government and leadership to be formed after the elections would further strengthen cooperation by realizing the importance of private sector.
