Kathmandu. On the last trading day of this year, the stock market fell slightly. The market has fallen amid a lot of volatility. The index that measures the market decreased by 4.18 points to sit at 2833.60 points.

A total of 2,01,63,793 units of shares of 342 companies were traded at Rs 8.66 billion. The prices of 105 companies increased while the prices of 153 companies declined.

The sub-indices of hotel, energy, investment, production and processing, non-life insurance groups increased while the sub-indices of other sub-indices decreased.

Despite the decline in trading, the share prices of 5 companies have hit the positive circuit.
