Kathmandu. NIC Asia Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has published its financial results for the third quarter of the current fiscal year.

During this period, the profit of the company increased by 8136.98 percent. The microfinance company had earned a net profit of Rs 12.98 crore in the third quarter of the current FY.

The company’s net interest income increased by 72.21 percent to Rs 85.40 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal year. In the same period last year, it was Rs 49.59 crore.

Similarly, the operating profit of the company increased by 8,356.03 percent to 15,90,58,000 rupees. It was Rs 18.81 lakh in the same period last year. As of mid-April, the company’s operating profit and net interest income have increased.

Although the company’s profit has increased, the distributable profit is negative. As of mid-April, the distributable profit of the company stood at Rs 32.37 crore.

The microfinance company has a paid-up capital of Rs 1.73 billion and reserve fund of Rs 47.57 crore. As of mid-April, the company has deposited Rs 20.74 billion and extended loans of Rs 19.72 billion.

As of mid-April, the company has EPS of Rs 8.20 and net worth per share of Rs 127.35.

The NPA increased by 3.04 percentage points to 16.59 percent. It was 13.55 percent in the same period last year.
