Kathmandu. The stock market has fallen slightly. The index, which measures the market, decreased by 2.95 points to sit at 2804.14 points.

The market, which had been decreasing since the beginning of trading, started rising with half an hour left for the trading to end. However, the market did not rise at the last moment.

A total of 1,75,88,854 units of shares of 342 companies were traded worth Rs 7.81 billion.

The sub-indices of banking groups, finance, investment, production and processing, non-life insurance groups increased while the sub-indices of other sub-indices decreased.

The prices of 121 companies increased while the prices of 138 companies declined. The prices of Palpa Cement, Suryakunda Hydropower and Shikhar Power Development Company were in the positive circuit.
