Deputy Governor Kiran Pandit has assets worth more than Rs 20 million, 20 tola gold, 250 tola silver

Kathmandu. Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Kiran Pandit has made public the details of his assets.

According to the details, his wife Kamana Sharma Pandit owns land worth Rs 2.2 crore in Tokha Municipality of Kathmandu. The property is said to be the income of the wife and the bank loan.

He owns a piece of land worth Rs 69 lakh in his wife’s name in Tarkeshwor of Kathmandu and Rs 1 million in Dhangadhi, Kailali.

His father Keshari Raj Pandit owns 11 ropanis of land in Damauli, Tanahun and 6 ropanis of land in Kathmandu in the name of his mother. His mother has a 2.5-storey house in Samakhusi, Kathmandu. The house is said to be an ancestral property.

Pandit has 20 tola gold, 250 tola silver and diamond worth Rs 200,000. The source of this wealth is marriage, marriage and personal income.

He has savings of more than Rs 20 million in Nepal Rastra Bank, Employees Provident Fund and various banks. He has more than 700 units of shares in various companies. He owns an E20 Mahindra EV and two motorcycles in his wife’s name.

Pandit has been appointed as the Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) on April 7.
