Kathmandu. The Government of Nepal has made public the contribution and growth rate of various sectors to the total value added as per the industrial classification for the fiscal year 2082/83.
According to the data made public, agriculture, forestry and fisheries sector has contributed the highest 24.03 percent. Its growth rate is 1.58 percent. Wholesale and retail trade, vehicle and motorcycle repair services contributed 14.09 percent. Its growth rate is 4.51 percent.
The contribution of transport and storage sector is 7.23 per cent while the contribution of industry is 5.72 per cent. Real estate contributed 8.07 per cent to the sector.
The contribution of information and communication sector was 1.93 per cent, financial and insurance 6.72 per cent and education sector 9.22 per cent. It has contributed 1.87 per cent to the human health and social work sector.
