Kathmandu. Israeli forces continued their offensive in southern Lebanon on Tuesday, violating a ceasefire that began on April 16.

Lebanon’s state news agency reported that Israeli warplanes carried out three airstrikes on the town of Jawtar al-Sharqiyah in the Nabatih district.

Meanwhile, several people have been missing after an Israeli airstrike hit the town of Harris in the district of Bint Jebil in southern Lebanon.

Israeli warplanes attacked the town of Jabal al-Batoum in the district of Tyre and fired heavy machine guns at Bint Jebil.

Lebanon’s health ministry said four people had been killed and 51 wounded in Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon.

By continuing to attack southern Lebanon, the Israeli unit is violating a 10-day ceasefire that came into force on April 16.
