Kathmandu. Police have arrested businessman Nabin Kumar Agrawal.

He was arrested by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police on Thursday.

According to Section 3 of the Export Import (Control) Act, 2013, Agrawal was arrested after he was found to have prepared a forged permit for the import of 100 tons of dates using the letterhead, seal and signature of the former Director General of the Department of Commerce, Supplies and Consumer Protection, Babarmahal, Kathmandu.

He has been taken into custody with an arrest warrant from the court.

Agrawal had been living in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-6.
