. President Ram Chandra Poudel has issued three more ordinances on the recommendation of the government. The ordinance issued include the Ordinance to amend some Nepal Acts related to the Academy of Health Sciences, the Ordinance on Special Provisions Ordinance 083 related to the removal of public officials and the Ordinance 2083 related to the University Act.

According to Ritesh Kumar Shakya, spokesperson of the Office of the President, the ordinances were issued in accordance with Article 114 (1) of the Constitution.TAG_OPEN_p_11 Earlier, President Poudel had also unveiled the ordinance related to cooperatives and procurement.

} The ordinance related to the Constitutional Council had also reached the President as per the recommendation of the government to issue some additional ordinances. However, the President’s Office said that the ordinance is still in the study stage.

President Poudel has consulted with some legal experts at Sheetal Niwas to get more clarity on the legal aspects of the ordinance related to the Constitutional Council.TAG_OPEN_p_9

A source at the president’s office said, “The decisions made on Friday and Saturday did not include the ordinance related to the Constitutional Council.”TAG_OPEN_p_8 ”

With this, only TAG_OPEN_p_7 three of the ordinances recommended by the government have been promulgated, while the decision on the ordinance related to the Constitutional Council will be taken in the coming days.
