Kathmandu. A police team on regular patrol has arrested 15 people in possession of drugs from different parts of the country. According to the Central Police News Room, they were arrested from Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Rupandehi, Siraha, Chitwan, Nawalparasi (East), Kailali, Sunsari and Surkhet. Police confiscated controlled drugs such as Norphine, Phenergan, Spaspen, Tramadol, IPPL and Diazepam, and brown heroin and marijuana.

The arrestees have been identified as Sandip Thapa Magar, 22, of Kathekhola Rural Municipality-3, Baglung, Nir Bahadur Karki, 43, of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-3, Bijay Kumar Yadav, 39, of Chakraghatta Rural Municipality-2, Sarlahi, Chiranjibi Adhikari of Chandragiri Municipality-5 and Prabesh Gurung, 30, of Likhu Tamakoshi Rural Municipality-1, Ramechhap.
