Kathmandu. Economic census will also be conducted in the industrial and commercial cities of Parsa and Bara. The National Industrial Census 2082 is going to be conducted with the slogan ‘Economic Census for Measurement of Economy’. Assistant Chief District Officer of Parsa, Binod Kumar Pokharel, requested the bodies concerned to carry out the economic census for necessary coordination and facilitation.

The District Economic Census Office, Parsa, under the National Statistics Office, has deployed enumerators to collect data from every industry, business, educational establishment, health institution, bank and financial institution, service provider and various types of organizations and offices and establishments from April 15, 2083 to June 20, 2083.

On the occasion, Assistant CDO Pokharel requested all to provide the necessary support and coordination to make the National Economic Census-2082 a success by providing factual details about the activities of their respective enterprises. “All types of bodies including local levels, chambers of commerce and industry are requested to cooperate in this nationwide task,” he said, adding that the details provided by you would not be submitted as evidence to any other body for tax purposes and the details provided by you would remain confidential as per the Statistics Act, 2079. Therefore, all the stakeholders are requested to confidently give accurate and complete details of their business and establishment. ”

Establishments and businesses engaged in all types of economic activities, whether permanent or temporary, registered or not in the Economic Census are eligible to participate in the census.
