Kathmandu. The Department of Food Technology and Quality Control under the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development has directed the government to return all current noodles produced by Yashodha Foods Pvt Ltd and sent to the market.
The Bureau has said that the acid value of the extracted fat in the food products produced by the producers was found not in compliance with the mandatory quality standard set by the government when the samples of food items collected as per the Food Hygiene and Quality Act, 2081 BS were tested in the laboratory.
The Department has ordered the government to immediately return all food items from the market as per the Clause 38 (2) of the Hygiene and Quality Act, 2081.
