Kathmandu. Chief Minister of Lumbini Province, Chet Narayan Acharya, said the province government would make the budget for the coming fiscal year people-oriented. Inaugurating an interaction programme on ‘Law, Budget and Planning Formulation and Parliamentary Control’ organized by the State Good Governance Centre at Bhalubang today, the former Prime Minister pledged to allocate public-oriented and development-focused budget incorporating aspiration of all.

On the occasion, Chief Minister Acharya said that preparations for the formulation of policy, programme and budget for the coming fiscal year have been expedited. “We are busy preparing the policy and programme and the budget for the coming year. Preparations are underway to bring policies and programmes and budget incorporating the sentiments of all,” he said.

Chief Executive Director of Province Good Governance Centre, Ujir Prasad Neupane presided over the inauguration ceremony while Chief Minister Acharya was the chief guest. State government ministers, parliamentary committee chairpersons and state assembly members are present on the occasion.
