Kathmandu. Paritosh Dr. Paritosh has been appointed as the director of the Bagmati Province of the National Cooperative Bank. Paudyal has won.

Dr KC defeated Ram Sharan Sharma Ghimire in today’s election. Poudyal has won.

Dr Poudel received 1827 votes while his rival Sharma got 1552 votes. Dr. Poudyal defeated Sharma by 275 votes.

In a brief conversation with Nivesh News after winning the post of director, Dr. Poudyal said that the bank would now be strengthened and transparent, financial good governance through cooperative banks and policy stability.

He also said that the bank would be members-friendly in the coming days. He has been active in the cooperative movement for more than 3 decades and said that his experience will be the main basis for the future leadership.

He has been working in various capacities from primary cooperatives to national level organizations.

He has also said that improving the financial management, institutional development and member service of the cooperative sector is his main priority.

In addition, the board of directors of the bank will elect the chairman. Dr. Poudyal is being touted as the future chairman of the bank.
