Rahughat hydropower project to come into operation this year

Myagdi. Raghuganga Hydropower Project, a subsidiary of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), is promoted by Rahughat Hydropower Project.

Unveiling the budget for fiscal 2083/84 in the federal parliament today, Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle said that the under construction Rahughat Hydropower Project in Myagdi would come into operation.TAG_OPEN_div_6

The construction of Rahughat Hydropower Project was started in 2066 BS with the concessional loan of 67 million US dollars from the Exim Bank of India and joint investment of Nepal Electricity Authority and the Government of Nepal.TAG_OPEN_div_4
