Kathmandu. The ‘9th Nepal Real Estate and Construction Exhibition’ is going to be held from September 17 to 4. The exhibition is jointly organized by Nepal Land and Housing Development Association, Nepal Land and Housing Development Association and Nepal Chamber of Commerce.

The theme of the exhibition is ‘Greenery for Sustainability’, said Roshan Bhoedho, general secretary of FNCCI. The exhibition will be organized with the objective of ‘Right to Housing and Emphasis on Systematic Urbanization’.

General Secretary Bhoedho said that the exhibition would help develop safe, systematic and affordable housing in the context that the constitution has adopted the right to housing as the fundamental right of the citizens.

He said that the main objective of the fair is to bring real estate entrepreneurs and consumers together to inform them about the new technology, products and the real situation of the market.

More than one hundred stalls of products and services, buildings, big projects of joint housing and land development, construction materials including iron, steel, cement, bricks, electrical appliances, modern furniture, pipes and fittings, sanitary wares, paints, ceramics, glass, tiles, home décor materials, renewable energy, banks, insurance companies, among others, will participate in the expo. Similarly, India and Malaysia are also participating.

Association president Deepak Kunwar said the expo would add positive energy to the real estate sector of Nepal. He said that consumers can choose the right price of the house or land according to their budget and choice.

Similarly, the coordination between engineers, architects and urban planners will help lay the foundation of modern and environment-friendly urbanization in Nepal, according to Engineer Kunwar. The fair will also provide direct consultancy services to the consumers by the experts of the related sector.
