Bhairahawa. CHITWAN — Vehicular movement along the Narayangadh-Butwal road section, which has been facing traffic jam, dust and chaos due to the construction of the road for years, has now become easier. Passengers have started feeling relieved after most of the slope and upgrade works under the road expansion have been completed.
The construction work of major sections of the under-construction road has almost been completed and the travel time has been shortened due to improvement in road condition for vehicular movement. Passengers said the Butwal-Narayangadh journey has been comparatively easy and fast compared to the people who had to spend hours in traffic jam before this.
According to the road widening project, slope and blacktopping have been completed in most of the areas while the remaining works are in the final stage. With the pace of construction work, the pressure of vehicles on the road has started to be managed and the movement has improved.
The road expansion work, which began in 2075 BS, has caused inconvenience to the commuters for long due to delay in the construction of the road. But now that the work is towards completion, the passengers, entrepreneurs and transport entrepreneurs have felt relieved. The completion of the project is expected to make the journey along the Narayangadh-Butwal road safer, easier and save time.
