Kathmandu. Kathmandu’s Baluwatar-based ‘Maria Health Center Pvt Ltd’ has been closed.

Acting Registrar of the Council Dr Dipendra Pandey shared that the monitoring carried out by the Council found that the hospital has been closed after sealing it as it was operating illegally.

According to him, they have written to the District Administration Office and District Police Range, Kathmandu to take action against the hospital’s proprietor for operating without permission.

The Council has suspended the temporary registration of three Chinese nationals practicing medicine for the time being.

Dr Pandey further informed that the committee has directed the Nepali doctors violating the election code of conduct to submit a written clarification within three days.
