Kathmandu. Lawmaker Amresh Kumar Singh said that the budget brought by the government is like a balloon filled with air and it will not last long.

In today’s meeting of the House of Representatives, he asked what percentage of Nepal’s population is happy with the budget brought by the government? He asked. According to him, there is no environment in the country for traders and industrialists to invest due to fear. He claimed that even if the state runs out of fear, the industrialists will not run.

He claimed that although the constitution has declared education and health as fundamental rights, this government has imposed tax on the fundamental rights. MP Singh said that this is wrong.

He suggested that the quality of public education should be improved rather than increasing the tax burden on students by taxing private schools. “Farmers sell vegetables for Rs 5 while consumers pay Rs 50,” he questioned.

He said that there is no policy in the budget to provide employment to the youths and there is nothing for the poor. He questioned what the people got after the budget increased the salary of the employees by 21 percent.
