Youths no longer compelled to go abroad: Finance Minister Wagle

Kathmandu. Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle has said the youths would no longer be compelled to go abroad to fulfill their dreams in the next five years.

Addressing the National Youth Entrepreneurship Conference-2083 in the capital on Friday, Minister for Finance Dr Wagle said that adequate opportunities for employment, education and other opportunities would be created for the youths within the country through the upcoming year’s budget. Saying the compulsion of youths of the country to go abroad to fulfill their dreams should end, he said, “We have started policy initiatives from the budget to lay the foundation to prevent such situation from occurring.” The implementation of the budget will lead to that. ”

On the occasion, Finance Minister Dr Wagle said that the government would move ahead on a new path of nation building through the implementation of the agenda of tax concession, concession in arrears to industrialists and entrepreneurs.

According to him, the budget has been relieved of tax hassle by providing significant concessions to the youths earning up to one lakh rupees by reducing the tax rate. Finance Minister Dr Wagle urged all to take advantage of it. He said that a lot of thought was given to the entrepreneurial thinking and plans of the youths while preparing the budget and programmes were announced accordingly.
