Far-West. The Sudurpaschim Province government has allocated a budget of Rs 37.70 billion for the implementation of policies and programmes for the fiscal year 2083/84.

Minister for Economic Affairs Bikram Singh Dhami presented the budget for the fiscal year 2083/84 in the meeting held at 11:45 pm on June 15.

Out of the sources of expenditure for the coming fiscal year, Rs 1.72 billion is estimated to be from internal revenue mobilization and Rs 10.24 billion will be received from the government through revenue sharing.

Likewise, Rs 70 million is expected to be received as federal royalty, Rs 906.33 million as financial equalization grant from the Government of Nepal, Rs 9.62 billion to be saved from current fiscal year allocation, Rs 6.03 billion to conditional grant, Rs 383.8 million as federal supplementary grant and Rs 527.6 million as special grant.

Minister Dhami mentioned about the budget allocated for current and capital expenditure in the current budget. The government presented the budget for the coming fiscal year amidst the boycott by the opposition party members.
