. KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has so far granted permission to 31 stock broker companies to operate margin trading facility. Some of the licensed broker companies have already started margin trading services.
According to NEPSE Spokesperson Murahari Parajuli, more than TAG_OPEN_div_16 two dozen broker companies are in the process of completing the necessary process to operate margin transactions. A total of 24 broker companies have received letters of intent from NEPSE. Parajuli said that these companies are yet to take necessary approval from Nepal Rastra Bank ।
