National Money Changer’s license in process

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is in the process of revoking the license of Rastriya Money Changer Pvt Ltd based in Bhimduttanagar, Kanchanpur.

Issuing a public notice on Wednesday, Rastriya Money Changer Pvt Ltd, which is operating in Bhimduttanagar-4, Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur, has applied for closure of its business.

According to the bank, the process to scrap the license has been initiated after the company filed an application to close the business as per Regulation 22 of the Money Changer License and Inspection Bylaw, 2077 (with fourth amendment) of the Nepal Rastra Bank.

According to the notice, if anyone has any transaction, claim or any other concern with the money changer, the bank has been requested to inform the Nepal Rastra Bank Dhangadhi Office within 35 days from the date of publication of the notice.

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has issued a public notice for information of all stakeholders. If any claim or concern is not received within the stipulated time, the NRB will initiate the process to revoke the license related to the money changer transaction of Rastriya Money Changer Pvt Ltd as per the bylaws.
