Kathmandu. A writ petition has been filed at the Supreme Court (SC) against the illegal detention of CPN-UML vice-chair and former Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel.
Poudel’s wife Domaya Poudel has filed a writ petition at the apex court today. She has demanded that Poudel be released from custody saying he was arrested without any evidence.
The hearing of the petition will be held tomorrow.
