All eight local units of Jumla present budget

Jumla. All the eight local levels of Jumla district have unveiled their policies, programmes and budget for the fiscal year 2083/84. Seven rural municipalities including one municipality in the district unveiled their budgets together on Wednesday.

Chandanath Municipality has presented a budget of Rs 594 TAG_OPEN_div_10.6 million. Tatopani Rural Municipality has allocated Rs 542.88 million, Patarasi Rural Municipality has allocated Rs 454.66 million and Tila Rural Municipality has allocated Rs 505.171 million.

Similarly, Hima Rural Municipality has allocated Rs 437.99 million, Sinja Rural Municipality has allocated Rs 45.48 crore and Kanakasundari Rural Municipality has allocated Rs 451.27 million.TAG_OPEN_div_8 Guthichaur Rural Municipality had brought the policy and programme with a budget of Rs 383.66 million on June 22.

Tila Rural Municipality vice-chairperson Gorikala Budha said that the budget has prioritized institutional strengthening and good governance, sustainable infrastructure and urban development, preservation and promotion of art, culture, heritage, accessible basic health services and life protection of the townspeople, employment-oriented and standard basic education.TAG_OPEN_div_6
