16 sick contracts of Karnali Highway terminated

Jumla. The Jumla-based Road Division Office has started the process to terminate 16 sick contracts for the construction of Karnali Highway that have been in limbo for years.

Saurav Kumar Singh, information officer at the Road Division Office, said that the office has issued a 15-day public notice regarding the termination of 16 contracts in Kalikot, Jumla and Mugu for not completing the contracts on time.TAG_OPEN_div_18

Information Officer Singh said that the process has been forwarded to scrap the sick contracts of 12 projects in Kalikot, three in Jumla and one in Mugu district under the Road Division Office, which were signed in the fiscal years 2074/75 to 2082/83.TAG_OPEN_div_16
