Rs 5.11 lakh revenue collected in traffic raids

Kathmandu.  In the last 24 hours, 1,922 drivers have been found violating traffic rules. A total of Rs 511,501 has been deposited in the state exchequer.

According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office took action against 92 people for consuming alcohol, 78 for ride-sharing against the traffic rules, 129 for violating signal lights and 139 for speeding.TAG_OPEN_div_8

Similarly, 41 for flouting lane discipline, 67 for blowing horn in prohibited areas, 10 for driving black-glass vehicles, 70 for driving one-way vehicles and 1,296 for flouting other vehicle rules were taken.TAG_OPEN_div_6
