Kathmandu. CPN-UML lawmaker Pushpa Kandel has demanded the immediate release of party vice-chair Bishnu Poudel.
He made this demand in the meeting of the House of Representatives. He claimed that this government was trying to defame the UML.
Poudel, who is also the former deputy prime minister, has pleaded not guilty.
Stating that the government is trying to keep 9 ministers in the secretariat for one minister, he suggested not to indulge in such policy-level corruption.
The suspension bridge over the Karnali River was constructed at a cost of Rs 160 million.
