Kathmandu. The newly appointed chairman of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) Dr. Gopal Prasad Bhatta has assumed office today.
During his term in office, he signed a decision to conduct training and orientation programs for employees of securities market-related indicator organizations on targeted financial sanctions related to the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing.
It is expected that this will enhance the perception and understanding of anti-money laundering in the index institutions and make it effective in Nepal’s rating and help Nepal to come out of the grey list.
