Kathmandu. Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Khadak Raj Poudel has said all should be honest for the renaissance of the national flag carrier (Nepal Airlines Corporation).

Addressing a programme organized on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) here today, Minister Poudel said all should be honest for the revival of national flag carrier. He made it clear that the Ministry would pay attention to the career development of honest, ethical and responsible employees who are working round the clock for the development of the corporation and action would be taken against those involved in irregularities.

On the occasion, Minister Poudel pledged full support from the Ministry for the progress of the corporation. He directed all the employees of the corporation to work efficiently and responsibly.

On the occasion, Secretary at the Ministry Mukunda Prasad Niraula stressed the need for all sides to work together to make the NOC stronger. He said that the corporation should be moved ahead with a clear vision by learning from the past experiences. Acting General Manager of NAC, Janak Raj Kalakheti, said that the increase in the number of passengers and income of late despite various challenges is a positive factor.

On the occasion, Minister Poudel launched the magazine ‘Aakash Bhairav’, an annual special issue of the corporation. On the occasion of the anniversary of the corporation, a morning rally was organized from the corporation’s central office to the corporation office via New Road Juddha statue today.
