Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited has bagged the ‘Certificate of Merit’ under the National Best Presented Annual Report Award-2025 by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN).

The award was conferred on the company amidst a special ceremony held at Hotel Yak & Yeti in Kathmandu on Monday. Acting CEO of the company Kabi Phuyal, Chief Financial Officer Ranju Lamsal and Jina Lama of Finance Department were present on the occasion.

ICAN has conferred the Certificate of Merit in recognition of its excellent presentation in its annual financial report for the fiscal year 2081/82, financial transparency, effective adherence to Nepal Financial Reporting Standards and other prevailing accounting standards, and high commitment to corporate governance.

After receiving the award, the Officiating Chief Executive Officer of the company, Kabi Phuyal, said, “This achievement is a matter of pride and happiness for the entire Sun Nepal Life family. He added that the award has given the company more motivation and responsibility to further strengthen financial transparency, good governance and excellent performance.
