Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Federation of Nepalese Export Entrepreneurs (FNCCI) has left for China today to participate in the ‘Nepal-China Business and Investment Summit-2026’ being held in Beijing of China today.
The summit is being organized by the Embassy of Nepal and supported by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (NCC) on July 1 and 2 at CCPIT Auditorium in Beijing. The 9-member team is led by FIN Chairman Govinda Prasad Ghimire.
Before leaving for China, Chairman Ghimire said, “The objective of FINN is to move forward by continuously contacting, networking, and collaborating with business organizations of different countries.” CCPIT has been an invaluable bridge to connect Chinese enterprises with global opportunities and we are confident that this conference will be effective. ’’
Chief of Economic Diplomacy at the Embassy of Nepal, Parbati Aryal, said that the summit would be very helpful in marketing of premium products of Nepal and technology transfer. Aryal said that there will be a special presentation on Nepal’s trade and investment opportunities and policies during the summit.
The summit is attended by representatives of business associations including the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI). Director General of the Department of Bilateral Cooperation of China Chamber of International Commerce, Xu Jiang, Deputy Director of Trade and Export Promotion Center of the Government of Nepal Rajendra Singh, President of Federation of Export Entrepreneurs Govinda Prasad Ghimire, President of the Export Promotion Committee of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Hom Prasad Ghimire, Dr. Dhruba Bhattarai of Nepal Herbal Producers Association will present working papers on Nepal’s major industries and export potential.
Established Chinese companies such as CICIC and Dahua Technologies will share their experience working in Nepal. Chinese and Nepali businessmen will hold direct business dialogue, which is expected to pave the way for foreign direct investment and trade agreements. The summit is expected to be a milestone in bringing Chinese investment in Nepal and establishing Nepali products in the Chinese market.
