Vehicular movement resumes from Miteri Bridge at Rasuwagadhi border point

Rasuwa. Vehicles that were halted since June 29 for the test of Bailey Bridge have resumed towards Kerung from today. Vehicles have come to operate from Miteri Bridge at Rasuwagadhi border point four days after the Chinese technician completed the test.

The Bailey Bridge was constructed on July 7 last year after the flooded Lhende River swept away the cement machinery bridge. The Chinese side had stopped the operation of the Bailey Bridge to test ÷whether it was suitable for the rainy season or not.

According to the Area Police Office, Timure, the vehicular movement has started after successfully completing the test of the bridge.TAG_OPEN_div_16 Ashok Thapa, chief of District Police Office, informed that 22 containers of small and big vehicles have left for Kerung from today for import after carrying test of the bridge and completing the re-fitting of the nut.
