Kathmandu. The stock market continues to fall.

The index that measures the market decreased by 19.67 points to sit at 2,601.92 points.

With the fall in the market, the index has reached close to 2500.

A total of 8,751,380 units of shares of 361 companies worth Rs 4.61 billion were traded. The prices of 42 companies increased while the prices of 229 companies declined. Today, the sub-indices of all the groups have turned red.

Investors of Upkar Laghubitta, Snow River, Janautthan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha and other companies earned in the transaction.

Similarly, the investors of Salpa Development Bank, Three Star Hydro and Om Megashree Pharmaceuticals suffered losses.
