Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Himalayan Life Insurance has announced 50% discount on interest and penalty to the policyholders who have lapsed their policies.

According to the notice issued by the company, the policyholders who renew or renew their policies from July 9 to July 12 will get 50% discount on the interest and penalty on the insurance premium.

This service is applicable to all policies issued by Himalayan Life Insurance, Prime Life Insurance Limited, Union Life Insurance Company Limited and Gurans Life Insurance.

According to the company, this discount will be provided only once in a single policy during the term of the policy. In addition, if the company wants to surrender the insurance policy within two years from the date of renewal by using the interest-penalty waiver facility, the waived interest and penalty amount will be deducted.
