‘Three per cent parity education service charge not practical and justifiable’

. Various associations of private school operators have urged the government to reconsider the three percent equality education service charge that the government has implemented.

Private and Boarding Schools’ Organisation Nepal (PABSON), Higher Institutions and Secondary Schools’ Association of Nepal (HISSAN), National Private and School Association of Nepal (PABSON) and Association of Pre-School Educators Nepal (OPEN) jointly organized a press conference here today and urged the government to reconsider its implementation TAG_OPEN_div_14 ।

A joint statement issued by the organization’s presidents Krishna Prasad Adhikari (PABSON), Yubaraj Sharma (HISSAN), Subash Neupane (National PABSON) and Krishna Kumar Bohara (OPEN) urged the party to reconsider.TAG_OPEN_div_12

The government has also been urged to arrange education loan up to Rs 1 million for private schools and consult with stakeholders while deciding on policy issues including public holidays, academic session and education regulations (tenth amendment).TAG_OPEN_div_10
