‘Mechanical crane’ to be sent to Karnali to solve power outage

Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Biraj Bhakta Shrestha took the initiative to send a mechanical crane to resolve the disruption in power supply in Karnali.TAG_OPEN_div_18

According to the Ministry, it has been decided to send a mechanical crane for the repair work of frequent power outages due to line tripping in Karnali Province.TAG_OPEN_div_16 Minister Shrestha, who visited the site two weeks ago in five districts of three provinces, had received information about the problem of frequent power outages in Karnali province including Surkhet due to line tripping and the lack of mechanical crane for maintenance work.

On the occasion, Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), Karnali Province Chief, drew the attention of Minister Shrestha on this issue.TAG_OPEN_div_14 Immediately after returning to Kathmandu, Minister Shrestha coordinated with the regulatory body to send a mechanical crane required to resolve the power disruption.

Minister Shrestha said that the decision would reduce the compulsion to import equipment from other provinces due to disruption of the service, which would make the electricity repair and service flow more fast, easy and effective.TAG_OPEN_div_10 Minister Shrestha said efforts were on continuously to resolve practical problems in public service.
