Two proprietors of Annapurna Sugar Mill arrested for defaulting on dues of sugarcane farmers over Rs 220 million

. KATHMANDU: Two proprietors of Annapurna Sugar Mill have been arrested on the charge of taking criminal benefits from sugarcane farmers without payment of dues of over Rs 220 million.

The arrestees have been identified as Shailendra Gupta, a resident of Ramgram Municipality-2, West Nawalparasi, and Binod Sah Kalwar, a resident of Haripur Municipality-1 in Sarlahi district.TAG_OPEN_div_10

The two absconding persons have been arrested in a case registered on the charge of taking criminal benefits of sugarcane farmers for a long time without paying dues of more than Rs 220 million.TAG_OPEN_div_8

Criminal benefit offences have been investigated against them and necessary legal process has been initiated.
