Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu District Court has released businessman Deepak Bhatta and businessman Sulav Agrawal on bail on a securities and insurance charge.
A single bench of Justice Shiva Prasad Acharya on Thursday ordered Bhatta to furnish bail of Rs 1.5 crore and Rs 20 million bail from Agrawal.
Bhatt and Agrawal have been fined Rs 10 million in the securities charges.
The Supreme Court has sought Rs 2.30 crore bail from Agrawal in connection with the sale of shares of Himalayan Reinsurance Company.
