Vehicular movement along the highway has come to a halt after landslides occurred at Panidhara and Chumkhola of Phisling of Ichhakamana rural municipality-2 along the Prithvi Highway.TAG_OPEN_div_11 The road traffic resumed from 9:30 am this morning after clearing the landslide.
According to Superintendent of Police Rameshwor Poudel, chief of the District Police Office, Chitwan, the vehicular movement has not been resumed although the landslide occurred at Jawang rivulet of Dhading.TAG_OPEN_div_9 Vehicles from Chitwan have been stopped at Chumlingtar, Kurintar and Muglin. Vehicles heading towards Pokhara from Narayangadh-Muglin road section have been allowed to operate since early this morning.
