Heavy rain forecast in most parts of the country

. At present, there is the influence of monsoon wind across the country. According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the monsoon low pressure trough is north of the usual location.

According to the department, most of the TAG_OPEN_div_14 cloudy weather is prevailing across the country. Possibility remains for ÷brief rain÷snowfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in some places of the high mountainous region. Possibility remains for brief rain accompanied by thunder ÷ and lightning one or two places of the hilly region.

According to the Meteorological Bulletin, there are chances of moderate rain along with thunder and lightning at some places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim ÷provinces.TAG_OPEN_div_12 Heavy rainfall is predicted at one or two places of the hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

According to the Division, it will be generally cloudy throughout the country tonight.TAG_OPEN_div_10 Light rain or thundershower is likely to occur at some places of the mountainous region of Koshi, Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province and at a few ÷places of Lumbini, Karnali and ÷Sudurpaschim provinces.

According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, light rain or thunder likely to occur at some places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and at one or two places of hilly TAG_OPEN_div_8÷terai region. There are chances of heavy rainfall at one or two places of the hilly and terai regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
