NRNA former president RK Sharma initiates clean water and toilets in Chitwan Land Revenue

Kathmandu. Chitwan: The District Land Revenue Office (DALO) in Chitwan is to reconstruct toilets and make arrangements for clean drinking water to end the lack of basic amenities being faced by the service seekers.

Former President of Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), RK Sharma, said that toilets and clean drinking water will be constructed in the area.

During his recent visit to his home district Chitwan, he said he had observed the situation of thousands of service seekers at the District Land Revenue Office (DLC) for lack of basic facilities like clean drinking water and toilets.

Sharma said that the initiative to reconstruct toilets and make arrangements for clean drinking water has been initiated with the positive support of Chief District Officer of Chitwan, Ganesh Prasad Aryal, and coordination of Chief Dahal of the District Land Revenue Office.

Stating that nation building was not only the responsibility of the government but also common responsibility of the responsible citizens, private sector and all sides of the society, Sharma expressed the belief that big change would be possible if all could contribute from their respective places.

He has also expressed gratitude to all who supported and encouraged him in his social works ranging from the education of Chepang children to the campaign to enroll the Nepalis in overseas employment in the social security fund.

He also thanked the media persons who were present at a short notice and helped to take the campaign to the public.
