Kathmandu. Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has been awarded with prestigious awards by Indian Chamber of Commerce & Commerce, Kolkata, India for providing state-of-the-art, safe and convenient banking services to its customers.

The bank received the award under the category “Rising Star – Growth”. Last year, the bank was awarded with the “Asset Quality” category.

The bank received the award at the 4th Emerging Asia Banking Conclave & Awards held in New Delhi on July 24, 2026. Banks from India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Myanmar and Bangladesh participated in the event.

According to the bank, the award has been received for its excellent work in the expansion of digital banking services, development of innovative financial products, expansion of business, increase in financial access and responsible banking. The award is believed to help establish the bank’s identity in the international arena.
