Biratnagar. The District Administration Office (DAO) of Sunsari district has re-imposed curfew today after the dispute over the incident in Dewangunj failed to settle down.
The indefinite curfew has been imposed from 3:00 pm today, according to a press release issued by Chief District Officer of Sunsari, Ishwori Prasad Aryal.
According to Clause 6 (a) of the Local Administration Act, 2028, the indefinite curfew has been issued in the four forts of the following four forts along the Mahendra Highway and the border of Inaruwa bazaar area in Sunsari district.
The curfew has been imposed up to Pakali Chowk in the east, Koshi Barrage Bridge in the west and 200 meters along the Mahendra Highway in the north.
