Who can apply for the post of CEO of Nepse?

Kathmandu. Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has opened applications for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

The recommendation committee formed by the government to select the CEO has issued a notice.

As the post of CEO is to be filled through open competition, the eligible Nepali citizens have been asked to apply to the Financial Sector Management and Corporation Coordination Division of the Ministry of Finance within 15 days of office hours.

The applicant should have a bachelor’s degree in economics, commerce, finance, management, information technology or commerce or law from a recognized educational institution and at least 7 years of managerial experience in capital market or financial sector or management.

He should not be disqualified as per Clause (2.2) and Clause (2.3) of the Procedure Related to the Selection and Recommendation of the Chief Executive Officer of NEPSE, 2083.

According to clause (c) of Section 3 of the Criteria for the Appointment and Nomination of the Public Bodies Concerned with the Ministry of Finance, 2073 (with amendment), those who have completed 30 years of age and not exceeded the age of 65 years and should not have the following disqualification as prescribed in Section 4 of the Criteria for Appointment and Nomination of the Public Bodies and Members of the Public Bodies Affiliated to the Ministry of Finance, 2073 (with amendment).

Along with the application, the applicant should submit a copy of the Business Action Plan 3 (3) as per the Clause 4 of the Executive Procedure for the Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE), 2083. The envelope should be signed with the name of the applicant and the “Application for the post of Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Stock Exchange Limited and Business Work Plan”. For this, you have to pay Rs 5,000.
