Kathmandu. The stock market and trading volume also fell on Wednesday. On Wednesday, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index decreased by 7.79 points to close at 2688.88 points. Today, the sensitive index decreased by 0.78 points, while the float index decreased by 0.65 points and the sensitive float index decreased by 0.42 points.

Along with the stock market, the trading volume has also continued to decline. On the previous trading day, shares worth Rs 4.42 billion were traded at Rs 4.02 billion.

Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of two sub-groups have increased while the indices of 11 sub-groups have fallen. Today, the indices of mutual funds and other sub-groups have increased marginally. The index of the remaining 11 sub-groups decreased today.
