Kathmandu. President Ram Chandra Poudel, on the recommendation of the Constitutional Council, appointed the Chief Election Commissioner and two other commissioners. According to a press release issued by the Office of the President today, Man Bahadur Karki of Morang was appointed as the Chief Election Commissioner in accordance with the Article 245 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal on the recommendation of the Constitutional Council.
Guru Prasad Wagle of Okhaldhunga and Dr Rajiv Subba of Kathmandu have been appointed as election commissioners, according to Ritesh Kumar Shakya, spokesperson of the Office of the President.
