Kathmandu. As the deadline for renewing IME Khalti (Khalti) approaches, new offers for its users are coming up with a new ‘100% gift’ scheme for its users.

Under this campaign, every 15 days 100 lucky users who renew their account in Khalti will get a chance to win 100% cashback. CDS & Clearing Limited has set a deadline to pay the annual renewal fee of the Demat account by July 30.

If the fee is not paid within the stipulated time, the demat account can be frozen from August 1 and this will hinder the capital market related transactions including share trading. According to the company, the scheme will be operational till the end of July.

Currently, there is an annual renewal fee of Rs 100 for demat account and Rs 50 for Meroshare. Users can go to ‘Financial Services’ inside the Khalti app, select MeroShare & Demat Renewal option, fill in their details and make the payment securely within a few seconds. There is also an easy way to pay the fee from your broker’s or DP’s website via Khalti Payment Gateway.

Khalti has been providing 24-hour service through both app and payment gateway to make the Demat and Meroshare renewal process fast, secure and convenient. Khalti has urged its users to participate in the cashback scheme by renewing on time while staying at home to avoid the last minute pressure and risk of account blockage.
