Kathmandu. U.S. President Donald Trump has signed a “historic deal” to disarm Hamas and withdraw Israeli troops from the Gaza Strip, thanking Qatar and other negotiators for their “cooperative efforts” to reach an agreement.

In a post posted on his own official account Truth, Trump said he had reached a “historic agreement” by agreeing to the complete disarmament of Hamas and all other armed groups in Gaza. “This agreement is an important step on the path to lasting peace and security,” he said. According to him, the agreement will be implemented through carefully structured steps; Once the disarmament is complete, Israeli forces will withdraw.

Trump thanked Qatar, Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey for their significant efforts, and thanked all parties that made this historic success possible.

Describing the deal as a major historic achievement in the implementation of Trump’s 20-Wise Plan to end the war, Trump announced that the international force would work with a new Palestinian police force to take over Gaza.
